After being rushed to our smokehouse within days of being caught, only the premium salmon are selected for our smoked salmon gift boxes. Once chosen, the salmon are hand filleted and then marinaded in a brine full of rich seasonings. The salmon is then hot smoked over alder wood fires. Finally, each fillet is inspected before it is sealed in a gold foil pouch known as a retort, which locks in the salmon’s freshness and intense flavor. The retort is then packed in our outstanding salmon gift box for both aesthetic appeal and added protection.
